If you’re a U.S. Amazon affiliate struggling with how to accept your earnings, because well, you DON’T EVEN LIVE IN THE U.S or the U.K, then this blog post is for you.
For those who live in the United States or the United Kingdom, it’s fairly easy because you can receive your payment via direct bank deposit. But if you’re from countries in the far east, like India, Sri Lanka or the Philippines, then you need to figure out other ways to receive your payment.
First, you need to sign up for a Payoneer account. Paypal and Amazon are competitors, so insisting that Amazon transfer your earnings through Paypal is like asking for Pepsi to team up with Coca Cola.
Payoneer, like Paypal, is a service used to send and receive payment, mostly patronized by people who transact across different locations. What’s amazing about Payoneer is, you can have a U.S. & Europe bank routing number that can be used to receive payment for all kinds of services. It’s like having a bank account in another country and getting a transfer from that bank to your own local bank.
Once you sign up for a Payoneer account, and go through the verifying process, log on to your Dashboard and go to Global Payment Service. Click on this. This is what it should look like.
Now, log in to your Amazon U.S. Affiliate Dashboard and click on: Account Settings< Change Payment Method and input details of your U.S. Account from Payoneer.
Choose the option that says: “Pay me by DIRECT DEPOSIT (United States Based Associates Only).”
Do make sure that you have completed your Tax Information (see also in your Account Settings) so your payments don’t get delayed.
